People who practice sports put stress—often inappropriately—on their bone mass, ligaments and foot muscles. Improper footwear and poor training methods can cause or aggravate a variety of articulation and muscle problems. Accidents happen easily!
Put the odds on your side by setting up a preventive examination! We will begin with a biomechanical evaluation to determine your hip, knee, ankle and foot motion, followed by an evaluation of your posture in static and dynamic positions.
Of course, we can also evaluate your condition following a sports trauma. X‑rays can be used to check whether you have suffered a fracture or other pathology.
Be sure to contact us if you experience any of these problems:
Acute injury or trauma
- Stress fracture
- Muscle or ligament tear
- Complete or partial dislocation
- Tendinitis or Achilles tendinosis
- Periostitis (shin splint)
- Heel or arch pain
Postural or biomechanical issues
- In both cases, an overall evaluation may be called for.
